The audience matters. Larks was working hard to reconstruct what her older siblings had made the night before...but once she figured it out, there was still something missing. Then she went and snatched the stuffed lemur and put him on the chair where he would have a front row seat for the show. She proudly demonstrated the marble game. She wasn't perfect, but she was willing to show Mr. Lemur all she had learned from her siblings. We so often talk about be careful because little eyes are always watching, but it is also important to MAKE opportunities to demonstrate for others the things we want them to see or copy. Philippians 4:9 challenges us by saying, "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." May we live such obedient lives that it wont matter who is sitting in the front row to see what God enables to happen through us. Now, we can't do it for the audience, but for God.
