Devotions for 3.8.22 - Unseen

Unseen

Photo: Parks as we arrived at church on Sunday.

He was excited.

But if there's a slight bit of sadness in his eyes, it is because of what was NOT allowed to come: his Hatchet.

He LOVED the warmer weather and has been safely hacking all kinds dead sticks to make firewood - he is READY for some campfires! (And I am too! And KNOW it is a great excuse to use a hatchet!)

Things yet unseen . . . campfires, hatchets, and soo many more spiritual things we seem to simply traipse on by without realizing.

2 Corinthians 4:18 challenges us: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

May our eyes be fixed rightly today.
