How to Get Involved @ Berkey
Jesus said that the mark of a follower is someone who loves him and follows his example.
To that end, we at Berkey try to find intentional ways to fellowship and serve together.
Below is a list of various ways one can become involved and connect.
Serve
Serve alongside others in various capacities such as serving dinner on Wednesday nights at Bible study, going on a mission trip, participating in local outreach ministries, teaching or volunteering to walk alongside children in Sunday school, youth activities, etc.
Fellowship Opportunities
Fellowship is something we greatly enjoy at Berkey! There are many opportunities to gather, connect, and break bread. From partaking in Soup and Salad Sundays to Women's Gatherings a few times a year to playing on the church volleyball league. Fellowship is important and we encourage all to do so!
Volunteer
Volunteer to help on Wednesday nights, children's church and Sunday mornings; work with children in the toddler/baby nurseries (CLEARANCES NEEDED); help with fundraisers like youth sub sales, basement sales, and the annual Strawberry Festival; participate in Love Your Church Day where we work on cleaning, updating and improving our church.
Family Events
Berkey provides opportunities for families to enjoy skating, hockey games, movie nights at the church, game nights, Harvest Parties, Easter Egg Hunts, and Advent Celebration just to name a few events. Families are the most important thing and we relish the opportunities to provide good, clean fun for the entire family!
Participate in Intentional Weekly Gatherings
Throughout the week there are a variety of small groups that intentionally gather to study the Word, fellowship, and develop strong friendships. From young teenage parents to adults of various ages, connect with other folks and learn about our awesome God together in one of these many groups.
