Children and Families

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Every Wednesday during the school year we meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The children ages 3 and up gather for singing and a Bible story followed by games connected with the lesson. The youth also have a time of games followed by a lesson. There is also a Young Parents Group. Each week there is a meal for all those who are interested. Transportation is available!

Sunday School

We offer five children's classes ranging from 3 years old to 6th grade and a Youth class for Grades 7-12. Lessons are hands-on and biblically-focused. Each group has the same teacher week after week so the teacher becomes another adult who knows and prays for your child! Connect with us for a ride to church on Sundays!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is where memories are made! Each year in June we welcome over 150 kids to come, learn, and play as we learn about God's Word and the Bible. There are games, crafts, workbooks, singing, lunch, and lots of laughter! We welcome all from the community!

Annual Harvest Party

Instead of Trick-or-treating, we spend time together with a meal, a hayride, family games, and a Bible lesson. This is a family-friendly, harvest-themed event geared towards fellowship and fun. Children and families depart with a happy heart and a tote bag full of safe, ready-to-eat candy!

4-6th Grade and Jr. High Summer Adventures

From Vacation Bible School until the end of summer, children going into 4th grade until Jr. High who finished 8th grade are able to participate in fun weekly adventures. They often include visiting state parks, swimming, organized group games, or hiking adventures in nature.

Family New Years Party

Can you imagine a wooden cross with candles and one of the candles belongs to your child? What a better way to bring in the New Year than to come as a family to eat and play and worship in God's house! After the party, many join together to go bowling to continue making memories and enjoying the fellowship!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

What if the eggs had significance instead of just storage for candy and our kids found out what Easter is truly all about? Children ranging from infant age to sixth grade will have fun completing Easter-themed crafts and a scavenger hunt, learn about the Easter story and Jesus's sacrifice via a take home Resurrection Egg Story time, and, of course, enjoy a traditional egg hunt and a delicious snack with their friends. It is a time for fun, fellowship and memories for families!

Family Advent Celebration

On the first day of Advent, we gather together to celebrate and learn more about Advent. The event includes creating memorable Christmas crafts, the youth help decorate the Sanctuary, we make & decorate cookies for future caroling opportunities, eat and fellowship together as a church family, and enjoy a Christmas puppet show or a memorable retelling of the Christmas Story!
